Files and databases are backed up before any changes, so if something goes wrong, everything is automatically restored.

For the module to work (check this information by using our free module Server Configuration):

• Safe_mode should not be activated.
• Allow_url_fopen must be enabled.
• The module folder must be writable by PHP.
• The file Prestashop must be writable by PHP.
• You need to have enough disk space on your server for the backing of your files and your database as well as the archive of the update.

Tested from version 1.0.0.4

Of course this update automatically overwrites any changes made to the core files Prestashop.

Warning: When updating to version 1.4 of your shop if you need to do a restore, the new modules are in the 1.4 directory module and can prevent the display of the content of the Modules tab in you shop backoffice.

Here is the list of modules identified as being problematic, it should be deleted:

• fedexcarrier
• importerosc
• shopimporter
• socolissimo (if it was not installed on your version before update)
• upscarrier
• uspscarrier
