Thanks to this module, your customers will be able to request a quote very easily. They just have to follow the usual process of an order (choice of products, addresses, choice of carrier), then click on transform my cart into a quote. They can also make requests in a more traditional way via a dedicated form. Finally, you will be able to create your own quotes and assign them to your customers directly in the administration of your store.
The quotes generated thanks to the button "transform my cart into a quote" or those created directly in the backoffice will include all the products that you or the customer will have added, accompanied by all the useful information (photos, price, total, VAT, logo, date, addresses, conditions of acceptance, comments, etc).
The quotes thus created can then be modified in the back office in order to add other products, discounts, comments, etc.
Your customers can then consult their quotes directly from their account and transform them into a cart in order to place an order. They will then benefit from the discounts you may have added to the quote.
The quote is generated by a classic template file that you can customize like any other template on your site.
It's simple, your customer browses your store as usual and adds products to his cart. He then clicks on the "transform my cart into a quote" button and is redirected to a page asking him to choose his delivery and billing address as well as the shipping method. If he wants, he can also add a comment to his quote and leave a message to the administrator. When he clicks on save, depending on the settings of the module, an email containing the quote is sent to him and to the merchant. The quote is then accessible in the customer's account and can be transformed into a shopping cart if he wishes to finalize his order.
To create a quote, simply fill in the corresponding form in the quote section of the back office. In order to facilitate the addition of customers and products, the form includes a search engine system with suggestions. Thus, to find a product or a customer, you just have to type the first letters of his name (or first name for the customers) so that the list of the corresponding products or customers is displayed. Then you just have to click on the one you are interested in.
Once the customer is chosen, the list of his addresses is automatically loaded and you can then select the desired ones.
The calculation of the total of the products is done automatically and the list of the carriers is loaded according to the selected products and addresses.
All you have to do is save the quote so that the customer can access it via his personal account. You can also send it by email directly from the administration.
