The problem
You opened a CookieFirst account, you have your UUID API key… now what? Pasting the snippet into the theme’s header.tpl works for a single language, but you lose everything at the next theme update.
Without a dedicated module, you have no language enforcement, no native declaration page, no clean multi-store setup, no page reload after consent to let GTM and Analytics re-initialise cleanly.
The solution
CookieFirst for PrestaShop wires the consent.js script through native PrestaShop hooks — displayAfterTitleTag, actionFrontControllerSetMedia or displayHeader depending on your version — and survives theme updates effortlessly.

Use cases

Installation
Download the module and install it from your back-office (Modules > Module Manager). Installation registers the right hooks and creates the cookie declaration page.
Open the configuration, paste your CookieFirst API key (UUID format) and check the auto-detected domain.
Tick options as needed: Force language, European servers, Google Consent Mode v2, Reload after consent.
Customise the cookie declaration page language by language: URL, title, meta, meta robots, list or table display.
(Optional) Activate your Mediacom87 license in the License tab to unlock the Test my configuration button and update notifications.
