The problem
GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive require any European shop to obtain explicit, free and informed consent before dropping any non-essential cookie. Since March 2024, Google also requires Consent Mode v2 to keep measuring Google Analytics and Ads in the EEA.
Pasting a raw Cookiebot script into your theme is no longer enough: you lose multilingual support, the cookie declaration page, the GTM bridge and compliance with the new standards. CNIL fines start at €20,000 for an SMB.
The solution
Cookiebot for PrestaShop wires the official Cookiebot script through native PrestaShop hooks, exposes a translatable cookie declaration page with editable URL and meta tags, and properly drives Google Consent Mode v2 and GTM.
Compatible with PrestaShop 1.6 to 9.x, multistore, multilingual (17 languages), GDPR/CCPA compliant, IAB TCF v2.2 ready, optional EU hosting. Set your Domain Group ID and you're live.
How it works
Create your Cookiebot account
Free signup on cookiebot.com up to 100 sub-pages. Cookiebot automatically scans your shop and lists every cookie.
Paste the Domain Group ID
Copy the ID provided by Cookiebot into the module Configuration tab. The banner activates immediately with your Cookiebot design.
Enable advanced options
Force language, enable GTM bridging, EU hosting, IAB TCF v2.2 and the cookie declaration page in a few clicks.

Installation
Download the module and install it from your back office (Modules > Module Manager).
Create your account on cookiebot.com (free up to 100 sub-pages) and register your domain.
Copy your Domain Group ID from the "Your scripts" tab on Cookiebot and paste it into the module's Configuration tab.
Enable the desired options: force language, GTM, EU hosting, declaration page, IAB TCF v2.2.
Customise the cookie declaration page (URL, title, meta description) for each language of your shop.
