The problem
Rewarding your best customers, launching a private sale or a partner programme in PrestaShop stays tedious : you have to create groups by hand, move customers one by one, and there is no simple way to distribute a VIP access code.
The legacy vipgroup module (Samdha) that addressed this need has been abandoned since 2017, is incompatible with PrestaShop 8 / 9, with no quota, no anti-reuse, no bulk import : a risk for the shops still relying on it.
The solution
MedVipGroup lets you create VIP codes that automatically attach the customer to one or several customer groups as soon as they enter the code — at registration or from their account. Catalog discount, tax-excluded prices, reserved categories : every group privilege is applied instantly.
Redemption quota with auto-deactivation, a database-enforced “one code per customer” rule, single-use aliases, validity dates, welcome email, bulk CSV import and automatic migration of the legacy module : everything is included.
How it works
Create a code
Name, optional aliases, redemption quota, validity window and linked customer groups. You can even create a new group on the fly.
Distribute it
Email, print, QR code, partner programme. The customer enters it at registration or from the dedicated /vip-code page in their account.
They become VIP
Instant attachment to the groups, discount applied across the catalog, welcome email sent, counter incremented.

Automatic migration & rich FAQ
MedVipGroup detects the legacy vipgroup module (Samdha) on install, automatically migrates every code (name, aliases, groups, dates) into the new structure then uninstalls the old module — no manual action. A friendly URL (/vip-code) is registered for the customer account. The tabbed back-office (Configuration, 25+ FAQ, License, Security, Changelog) and the PDF documentation in 5 languages complete the package.
Installation
Download the module and install it from your back office (Modules > Module Manager)
The module creates its dedicated tables, registers the hooks for your PrestaShop version and automatically migrates data from the legacy vipgroup module if present
Create your first VIP code : name, groups, quota and validity dates — or import hundreds via CSV
Distribute your codes ; your customers become VIP automatically on entry, at registration or from /vip-code
