Offering a reliable card payment that fully complies with your acquiring contract is not trivial: transaction signing, server notification, test mode handling, multi-currency…
And without an instalment payment option you keep losing high-value carts: price remains the number one barrier to purchase, especially above €100.
The solution
This module connects your shop to the secure Monetico Paiement platform (CIC and Crédit Mutuel brands) with automatic order validation through a server notification signed with HMAC‑SHA1.
It adds split CB payment (2x, 3x, 4x) and Cofidis Pay (3x, 4x, Pay Later) to raise your average cart and reduce abandonment, with no third-party provider to integrate.
How it works
The customer chooses
At checkout the customer picks one-time CB, payment in 2x/3x/4x or Cofidis Pay, depending on the enabled modes and the cart amount.
Secure payment
They are redirected to the certified Monetico / CIC / CM banking page. The transaction is signed and encrypted end to end.
Order validated
Monetico notifies your server: the module verifies the signature and automatically creates the order in PrestaShop.

Installation
Download the module and install it from your back office (Modules > Module Manager)
Enter your TPE, key and company code credentials (in Test mode then Production)
Send the notification URL (CGI2) displayed by the module to your Monetico contact
Enable the desired modes (CB, split, Cofidis), set the limits, then run a test payment before going live

2.3.1 - 05/19/2026
- Broken server notification: the text-free field prefix (CB1, COFIDIS 3XCB, ...) was not extracted correctly. The module returned an invalid acknowledgement to Monetico, the payment was cashed but no orders were created in PrestaShop.
- Unvalidated Cofidis: Server notification completely ignored Cofidis modes (3xcb / 4xcb / paylater). They are now processed and create the order.
- Wording of the means of payment transmitted properly to the order created.
